AIGA Design for Democracy
IIn 2018, I entered the AIGA Design for Democracy competition, which challenges designers to create visuals that promote early voter registration. My submission, a "Vote-A-Saurus" graphic, combined neutral political tones with attention-grabbing copy and a fun dinosaur motif.
The design was chosen by a panel of influential jurors, including renowned designers Milton Glaser and Luba Lukova, alongside leaders like Harry Allen from Design Pavilion, Tim Tompkins of the Times Square Alliance, and Ally Kostick from NASDAQ. It was prominently displayed on the NASDAQ cylindrical tower in New York City and became the only voter registration postcards distributed in Times Square.
